As the awareness of a laryngectomees plight comes to the fore we are finding that there are more and more individual Laryngectomy Clubs/Groups being set up nationwide. These are invaluable as no one person knows all the answers and no one person can possibly experience the ‘thousand & one’ niggly little problems that occur with larys. We have tried to list all the towns/cities where there are lary clubs/groups so that any new larys may find comfort & advice in their own area-though I would advocate anyone who can use a computer to log onto facebook where this link will take you to an excellent facebook page dedicated to larys.  This is a world wide support page and if you want to be part of the growing army of supporters why not cast your eyes over our very own, regularly updated facebook page  here? It costs nothing to join in and you might even find yourself wanting to help in some small way or other-what can you do in your area to help raise awareness?

You will also find plenty of help & information at this site, the National Association of Laryngectomy Clubs who also endeavour to keep up to date lists of lary clubs and events etc. Theyt also produce an excellent quarterly magazine/newsletter  (The CLAN) for readers to contribute to or just enjoy reading. The magazine is always full of useful tips and readers letters etc. Do you have any news or questions for The Clan? If so, simply email Ian Honeysett and he will always do his best for you.
